It will take cravings away enabling you to take your diet to a higher level.

ORANGE JULIUS:

— 3 Oranges (Peeled)
— 1 Thai Coconut Water and Meat
— 1/2 Vanilla Bean
— 4-6 Ice Cubes

Blend Ingredients In High Speed Blender
Makes Approximately 32oz


GREEN ROCKET LAUNCHER:

— 4 Apples
— 6 Celery Stalks
— 1 Lemon (Peeled)
— 1 Arugula Bunch
— 4 Collard Green Leaves
— 1 Piece Ginger (to taste)

Yumm-Ohh Energy Smoothie

  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 3 Bananas
  • 1 Tbs Cacao powder
  • 2 Dates
  • 1 cup Coconut Water/Water
  • Ice

Returning from a 4 Day Water Detox

I feel great now. The other week I had a death in the family and had to head to Chicago for funeral preparations and supporting my fam. Being there was stressful, tragic, I hardly ate. After I got back I wanted to heal myself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I forgot how fast the weight loses while doing a water fast. I feel cleaner, much more blessed and loving. I hope this sets a good example for everyone and hope to try it out one day at a time.

Raw Vegan Tip: It’s okay to cheat

Carbs are what most people crave while being on this quest. Most reasons are because

  1. You are a newbie. It’s okay! Not many people can convert overnight. Start at least 80% raw. If you are going to cheat it is highly beneficial to eat raw in the morning and cooked in the afternoon. 
  2. You didn’t eat enough. If you only ate 3 apples for lunch, chances are your body is going to turn into a beast once you go back into that kitchen and start feasting on cooked foods.
  3. You are out with friends and you want to fit in. At a restaurant it’s okay to order pasta, or something that has good carbohydrates. (Exclude the meat and dairy). If you’re strong on your quest just take bananas to the restaurant and eat it there. I’ve done it before! Who cares who’s watching everyone else is the weird one eating a poor chicken’s breast.
  4. You worked out soooo much, but you didn’t recover and you feel weak and exhausted. For most people the natural thing to do is eat beans or some sort. Feel free to pass on that. Personally, I work out 2 hrs with 1 hr cycling and by the time I reach home I relax then make a smoothie of 2 bunch spinach, 5 bananas, coconut water, and ice. And get some rest!!

To overcome a craving: Relax, drink a Large green juice or fruit juice and see if you are still craving cooked foods.

If you do cheat: Don’t think you’re not a raw vegan anymore and you failed! One day will not turn your body into a wasteland unless you cheat every day. If you cheat one day get right back up and eat raw afterwards. But if you do cheat, always always avoid eating animal products. Baked potatoes, beans, rice, pasta are best.

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Bunch Parsley
  • 8 Stalks Asparagus

Organic whole fruits/veggies are highly advised.

Great recipe to keep your bowels clear

  • 8 oz. Pineapple, blended
  • 8 oz. Carrots, juiced
  • 8 oz. Coconut water
  • 8 oz. Prune Juice

Stir/pulse the ingredients together at the end

= 32 oz. jar of juice, one serving for an adult

  • Eat fresh fruit for energy, beauty, and happiness
  • Drink green leafy vegetables juices for strength, balance, and inner cleanliness
  • Eat soaked nuts and seeds for reproductive health, body heat in the colder months, powerful muscles
